Why Does The PTA Conduct Fundraising Activities?

Our PTA is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing and supporting the educational programs and environment at Sunny Hills. A small portion of our income comes from PTA membership dues. To support our school, fund essential programs, and cover expenses not met by public funds, WE NEED TO RAISE MONEY. To achieve this, the PTA organizes a variety of fundraisers to accommodate different preferences.

 

Where Does My Donation Money Go?

The Sunny Hills PTA uses the funds raised to support programs, purchase equipment, and provide classroom support and services that benefit our students each year. Programs such as the Science Fair, professional art instruction, science enrichment, and literacy support rely on PTA fundraising to exist.

 

How Can I Make a Donation?

Making a donation is easier than ever!  

Do you work for an employer that offers matching charitable donations? If so, please inform our treasurer so that Sunny Hills PTA can benefit from your corporate matching program. Sunny Hills PTA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.

 

What Fundraisers Can I Expect This Year?

Each year, Sunny Hills PTA offers both Active and Passive Fundraisers, in addition to accepting general donations. Our primary fundraiser, the Orange Ruler Fall Fun Run, takes place in September.
